Satureja khuzestanica Jamzad (Essential oil) is wildly grown in different geographical parts of Iran. Satureja Khuzestanica Jamzad with the Persian name Marzeh Khuzestani as an aromatic endemic plant is wildly grown and distributed in the south-western part of Iran. It is used as a seasoning agent in Iran. In the folk medicine, the analgesic and antiseptic properties of the S. Khuzestanica Jamzad have been accepted among Iranians.
